The author Eula Biss did great on this article. The group she is trying to recognize there innocence I can completely understand. Being African-American and having to deal with the rascism made be connect to this article more than i have connected to any article. I am so happy because these are the articles I can relate and actually think about. Most avoid articles like this becuase they try to convince us it racism or sexism doesnt exist. But Articles like Is this Kansas are real!
The way she organize her article is my ideal article. It is sad how they treat New Orleans. What makes White-American better than Black-Americans? Is their Money better than us? Is it gold because ours is green paper money. Are they more conservative than blacks. According to the Biss's article they are just the same as any race in the world. The episode of the Iowa City student explains it. Everyone has their faults and none are perfect. But to point out black-Americans fault to extreme when they are need is very wrong. Being a African-American sparks a fire in my heart because I have to go through this.
